Organic Australian grown wholegrain wheat is simply roller milled to create this self raising flour. Unbleached Baker’s flour contains the wheat bran, germ and endosperm. It is Certified Organic, contains no artificial additives and is non-GMO. With a slightly coarser texture than white flour, it has a lovely fresh aroma and nutty flavour.
Wholemeal Baker’s Flour is made from hard wheat which has a slightly higher protein level (12%) than other plain wholemeal flours. It also has a higher gluten content and water absorption ability. These qualities make this flour more elastic when making dough – which makes it the perfect choice to use in homemade bread rolls and loaves, crackers, flatbreads, pasta, and pizza bases.
