As an online bulk food store that re-uses packaging, the presence of allergens is inevitable.

 

Sacks of food products containing allergens are opened and closed daily as we scoop out products and pack them into re-usable containers for customers. We use separate scoops for each product and store allergen-containing products separately in their containers. However, the allergen-containing products are not stored or packed in a self-contained area.

 

This means that all products may contain traces of other allergens due to cross-contamination.
